The name DBLive derives from
"living data base", which alludes to the rapid changes in the massive amount
of global weather data DBLive's proprietary forecast engines consume each
hour.
These data originate from observation centers around the world
and are processed around the clock by DBLive's intelligent system of
weather information processing, generating analysis, bulletins, warnings and
specific, segmented and customized products
which includes our newest product, MapKast™. MapKast™ provides instant point forecast capability for any point in the world, including oceans. In addition, MapKast™ provides the user the ability to place weather parameter overlays onto maps providing “real-time”, animated 5 day forecast mapping for any point specific location.
